Mipsis
Quality Control Inspection Software
illustrates how to plan the inspection of the raw materials
and the products. The purpose of this inspection is to
ensure that the materials and the products meet the
specified requirements. The level of inspection is
determined by Mipsis based on the past performances of the
materials produced or purchased. Mipsis allows you to
determine if the incoming and outgoing lots require
tightened, normal, reduced or periodic inspection plan. For
instance, there can be differences between the quality
performances of a material purchased from supplier A and
supplier B. In that case, different inspection plans are
applied to the materials supplied from both suppliers. When
the performances of the suppliers increase, inspection plan
is changed and sample sizes are reduced, which enables us to
save inspection time. Mipsis calculates the PPM
(Part-Per-Million) rates for both our production
units/suppliers and products/parts. At the same time, it
keeps the defect records. It also enables us to monitor CAR
(Corrective Actions Request) records and to store them into
the database. Mipsis allows you to document part or material
information, control plan, characteristics, supplier data,
contracts and technical specifications.
